Ponies in the Smokies ("PITS," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by T5 Productions LLC, runs the website poniesinthesmokies.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site
  • The website or ad that referred you to the Site

Information From Third Parties

Event registration is handled by third-party platforms (for example, Eventbrite and SignUpGenius). When you register through those platforms, they collect your information directly under their own privacy policies. We may receive registrant lists, contact information, and vehicle or attendance details from those platforms so we can administer the event.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Administer the event, including registration, display selection, lot assignments, and volunteer coordination
  • Respond to your questions, submissions, and vendor or sponsor inquiries
  • Send event announcements, schedule updates, registration openings, and marketing emails you've opted into
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Measure the performance of our website, emails, and advertising
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. This may include tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel.

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not function correctly if you do.

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Site and the event — website hosting, email marketing, form processing, analytics, and registration platforms — only as needed to perform those services.
  • Event partners, sponsors, and vendors, where you have specifically requested contact or where sharing is necessary to administer a registration, display, or award. We do not provide our general email list to sponsors or vendors.
  • Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PITS, our attendees, or the public.
  • A successor entity in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of the event or its assets.

5. Third-Party Sites and Platforms

The Site links out to third-party platforms, including registration providers, merchandise retailers, sponsor and vendor websites, and social media pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

6. Photos, Video, and Submitted Content

If you submit photos of your vehicle through the Site, you grant us permission to use those images in connection with promoting the event, including on the Site, in social media posts, and in event materials. See our Terms of Service for details.

Photos and video are also captured at the event by our staff, official photographers, and media partners. By attending, you consent to being photographed and filmed and to the use of that footage for promotional purposes.

7. Email Communications

If you join our email list, you'll receive event updates and marketing messages. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We may still send you transactional messages related to a registration or submission you've made.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to administer the event, maintain historical registration records, and comply with legal requirements. You can request deletion of your information at any time using the contact details below.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Request that we correct inaccurate information

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
